Project PRISE

"Promoting Inquiry in Science Education (PRISE)" is a collaborative effort among The University of Arizona College of Science, Navajo Nation Office of Dine Science, Math and Technology, the National Optical Astronomy Observatory, Pinon Unified School District. Designed to target sixty (60) K-8 elementary teachers, Project PRISE will focus on providing science content professional development institute modules in physical and life science encompassing scientific inquiry. Each institute module will include content and interactive instructional strategies and activities aligned with the Arizona Department of Education and Professional Teaching Standards.
