The Solar Science Workshop is funded by a research grant received by the National Science Foundation (Solar-Terrestrial Program Award #0447354) and awarded to Assistant Professor Joe Giacalone at the University of Arizona Lunar and Planetary Laboratory. Partners include The University of Arizona Science and Mathematics Education Center and the National Optical Astronomy Observatory (NOAO).
